Online examination for admission in BHU will start from Tuesday
Varanasi. Online admission is being started from Tuesday for admission in different courses of Kashi Hindu University. The exam will last up to 11 days. A total of 4.95 lakh candidates will try their luck in the entrance test run till 24th May. For the 28 undergraduate and 116 postgraduate courses of the University, written examination in 45 cities across the country and CBT (computer based ie online) examination in 115 cities is organizedThe number of applicants in the pen-paper mode for the graduate entrance examination is 2,72,411 and the total number of CBT mode applicants is 82,910. At the same time admission for admission in postgraduate courses will be held in CBT mode only. There are a total of 1,30,411 applications in this. The change in the way of entrance test was affected by the fact that in 2018 where 4.50 lakh applications were received, in 2019 this figure has increased to 4.95 lakh.
Entrance exam in every city Entrance test is being organized in every city for the students of the country to get an opportunity to read in BHU, irrespective of the number of applicants in the respective city. For admission to the graduate course, the examination is held in two shifts from May 14 to 16, and in three shifts on May 17. For the post-graduate course, the examination is held in two shifts from May 14 to 24 (except on May 17 and 19).
